Morgan Fox calls herself a fitness goddess, but if you ask us, that 5’11”, 38-24-34 figure could only have been forged by a higher power. Born in Prince George, British Columbia, the Canadian beauty spent her teen years at the barn, riding and caring for her horses, or skiing at Kamloops’ Sun Peaks resort. At eighteen, she was crowned Miss World Canada, and traveled to Europe to represent her homeland, a duty she undertook with both good sense and humor. “I was lying on a beach in Málaga with eighty-seven gorgeous women from around the world,” she says, recalling one such call to duty. “It was wonderful! I learned a lot just by talking with them about their countries." In the later eighties, Morgan became a personal trainer at a Vancouver health club, and with her awe-inspiring body, it’s certainly not hard to see why. She’s a walking advertisement for regular diet and exercise. “Physical fitness and exercise have been in my life since I was a little girl,” she says of her philosophy. Her daily workout – including stretching, stationary biking, weight and circuit training – may seem punishing to some, but it’s all par for the course for Morgan Fox. “I like to push myself to the limits, to see what I can do,” she says. When we offered Morgan another job the chance to pose for Playboy as our Miss December 1990 – she hopped on a plane faster than we could tell her to drop and give us twenty. Now that’s a can-do attitude. The slope-happy ski bunny suited up – and then stripped down – for the pages of Playboy. “I can’t imagine not caring about my body,” she says, and she certainly displays that body with pride. “If I don’t exercise, I find I get totally stressed.” These days, Morgan lives near Vancouver, Canada, where she owns a stable and cares for horses with her family. “Whatever I want to achieve, mentally or physically, all I have to do is reach into my heart and make it happen,” says Morgan serenely. This fox’s number-one tip? Always be true to yourself, and let your inner beauty shine through.
