“I was an only child and I was spoiled, but I was not spoiled rotten,” admits Hope Marie Carlton, a gorgeous all-natural blonde from Tampa, FL who started making her own money at a very young age. “I've been working since I was 13. My mother used to model in New York when I was a baby, and I started doing little-girl fashion shows and stuff like that.” After working as a fashion model for several years, Hope learned a lot about responsibility and herself including the fact that she could never work in a structured nine-to-five environment. “I ran computers for a while and I almost ripped my hair out. I'd go crazy sitting there looking at that screen and punching in invoices all day,” confesses our busty Playmate of the Month. “One day, I got up, threw that stack of papers and said, ‘I've had it!’ I walked out and got on my horse and went for a four-and-a-half-hour ride, and I was fine. And as long as you don't put me back in that office, I'll be fine.” Since her days as a high school student, Miss July 1985 has been working with and taking care of horses, but when her calendar became congested with modeling jobs she had to give up working at the ranch. “It was just taking too much of my time. I always bit off more than I could chew. But, that teaches you; it makes you learn,” says Hope, who plans on owning her own horse ranch in the future. “When I'm in front of that camera, I become somebody else. It's like a release, and I don't think of anything else, but what I'm doing. I just go crazy. I love it!” The buxom beauty has become a Californian sensation since moving to the West Coast on and off camera. With acting roles in Baywatch, Married with Children and The A-Team and the title of Miss July 1985 under her belt, Hope has been living the highlife—and she’s just taken up a hobby that embodies that sentiment. “I’ve been taking flying lessons now for about six months. I’m getting ready to solo and I’ll have my license within the next couple of months,” says Miss Carlton. “Danger? I don’t even think about it up there. I think the joy and the adrenaline override fear.” Look up in the sky—it’s a bird, it’s a plane! It’s Miss July 1985!
