Playmates seem to have it all—a glamourous lifestyle, access to wild parties and fame. However, like most people, Playmates want what every Playboy fan wants—true love—and sadly, Christine Richters hasn’t had much luck in the love department. “I had one boyfriend who used to tell me that I'd never find another boyfriend if I left him,” says all-natural Christine. “He was crazy. He was really mean to me, too. He would tell me he was coming home and then not come home all night. And then he went to bed with my best friend. Of course, she's not my best friend anymore.” Vowing to never date another insecure or immature man ever again, our Playmate of the Month was dumbfounded when those were the only men who approach her at bars and clubs. “I don't want to have to go to bed with all those guys, and that's what they expect. That's just the way they are,” says Miss May 1986. “So I'm afraid to get into those situations. They make me nervous. And the younger guys— they don't go to school, they don't learn, they just listen to MTV all the time, you know. So I don't even want to deal with it.” Christine admits that in her past, she was a party girl, but after spending time with the MTV-watching crowd, she quickly evolved passed her company. “It’s fun to go out with the girls and do stuff every once in a while. But, after I broke up with my old boyfriend, I was going out every night of the week,” explains Miss May 1986. “And, you know, I hated it. It was fun for a while, but it got old really fast.” The voluptuous blonde explained how she’s never seen what true love really looks and feels like—she believes that that is perhaps the reason for her bad luck with men. “My parents got divorced when I was three; my dad lives in Fullerton somewhere,” says Miss Richters. “I've never really met my dad. I went through the Department of Motor Vehicles to try to find him, but the address at the DMV is wrong. I hope he'll see my Playboy picture and call.” With or without her father in the picture, there is no doubt that Christine is a gorgeous woman who is ready for that next step and hopes to make her future-husband the luckiest man. “I'd just rather get married and not have to worry about anything,” smiles Miss Richter. “I would like to have the security of having someone there for me all the time.”
